It all began in the basement of a residential house in Grafenhausen. Konstruktion Baumann was founded by Albrecht Baumann with the vision of developing innovative solutions for medical and precision engineering. <\/p>\n

With an eye on the future, the design office moved to its new and current location in Herbolzheim. More space for innovation and the opportunity for further growth made this step essential. <\/p>\n

Albrecht Baumann’s son, Christian Baumann, a trained toolmaker and newly qualified graduate engineer, joins the company after completing his mechanical engineering studies. His combination of practical experience and profound engineering knowledge brings new impetus to the company. This step further strengthens the connection between tradition and innovation. <\/p>\n

Christian Baumann, the son, becomes managing partner. The family business transitions to the next generation, securing its succession. As part of the business succession, the sole proprietorship Konstruktion Baumenn is converted into KONSTRUKTION BAUMANN OHG. <\/p>\n

With the founder’s daughter joining as Sales and Project Manager, the company remains firmly in family hands. As a micro-systems engineer with a doctorate, she contributes in-depth expertise to process and procedure development \u2013 particularly in the field of wet-chemical laser processes. Her expertise expands the BAUMANN team’s competencies and further drives innovation and technological progress. <\/p>\n

As part of our new strategic direction, laboratory technology is being expanded into an independent business unit. After more than 25 years of successful self-employment, Mr. Albrecht Baumann retires as managing partner from operational business. At the same time, Albrecht Baumann’s daughter, Dr.-Ing. Sybille Hopman, joins the family business as a partner. Together with her brother Christian Baumann, she will shape the further development of the company as managing partner.<\/p>\n

As part of the succession plan, KONSTRUKTION BAUMANN OHG is renamed BAUMANN Engineering OHG. What began as a design office is now a provider of holistic solutions \u2013 from design to the implementation of complex systems for pharma & biotech, medical technology, and mechanical engineering. <\/p>\n
